Overall form progress:
POSSIBLE REASONS WHY YOUR BIN WAS NOT COLLECTED
* BIN NOT OUT ON TIME -
Bins will be collected from 6.00am. Please ensure your bin is out before this time, ideally put your bin out the night before.
* BIN NOT PRESENTED AT CORRECT COLLECTION POINT -
Unless an Assisted Collection (permit) has been approved, you are required to present their bins for collection at the kerbside or an arranged collection point.
* CONTAMINATION -
Please ensure you have disposed of rubbish in the correct recycling bin.
* BIN TOO HEAVY/OVERFULL -
There is a risk of damaging the bin when emptying if it is too heavy. Do not overfill and ensure the lid closes. If the bin lid cannot close due to excess waste then the bin may be damaged during tipping. Please ensure you remove excess waste and close bin properly. Crew will not put their hands in bins to remove waste.
* MORE THAN ONE BIN PRESENTED -
Green bins: You must qualify for a second bin before it will be picked up.
Other bins: Households are limited to a maximum of two bins of any colour.
* WINTER BROWN BIN -
Brown bin collections are suspended during the months of December, January, and February. Householders requiring the service during this time must book their request online or by calling 0300 123 0900. Bins not booked in will not be collected.
* OVERSIGHT BY OUR COLLECTION TEAM -
If a bin is missed due to operator oversight, it will be collected within 3 working days of it being reported.
* CREW STILL WORKING -
Collection crews work from 6am to 10pm. Your bin can be collected at any point throughout the collection day.
* NO ACCESS
Collection crew and vehicle unable to access bins.
I have reviewed non-collection reasons.
